2019 Mavin Records announces the signing of Crayon, the first artist signed to Baby Fresh’s Blowtime Entertainment record label imprint, following the signing of Rema and this time they rolled out another young talent.

Crayon originally know as Raymond Oscar born November 21 1995 age 24 and he hails from Iba, Lagos.

Crayon is a bundle of talent with his style of music ranging from global pop, local Afrobeats, Latin and Caribbean rhythms for a dynamic new sound with mass appeal.

In this content we be talking about this talent young individual who is growing up in the Nigeria music industry so fast than we expected and I will be telling you our fans “3 Key Point Why Crayon Is The Next Big Act To Watch For 2020”.

First on the list will be his style of music which I mentioned earlier which is ranging from Afrobeats, Latin, and so on which makes him stand out and versatile amongst others like Label mate Rema alongside of youngsters like Joeboy and Fireboy DML but although 2019 we didn't hear much from him as Rema was busy getting the who attention but that did not stop him from making hit song such as “So Fine” which is making wave up till date.

Crayon’s sound is very easy to sell, He is heavily influenced by the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Justin Bieber, Fela and His versatility cannot be missed when you slip into bed and decide to vibe to his new EP which have track like “So Fine” all night. Or maybe you’re listening to it while working out in the morning, you can feel his tuneful voice take you on a ride to different destinations u never expect.

For me his EP 'Cray Cray' is so freaking amazing after listening to few tracks like Usual, Bamiloke and my favorite of them all So Fine. It just shows how much this young singer got to offer regardless of him no doing much in 2019 but this year 2020 is definitely a year we will witness the best of Crayon.

The EP was produced by the two Mavin in-house producers, Baby Fresh, and Ozedikus. There’s a lot of recycling of sounds but Crayon’s approach makes it difficult to discern.

Another key point that stands out for Crayon is his name which am sure most of you must be wondering why 'Crayon'??? is catchy and easy for his name to get attention of his listeners.

Reading about him, I discovered that he got his name from a pack of colors which It’s necessary for an artist to choose a name that can get people’s attention once it been mention or seen and His first debut as a signed artist was in Mavin’s “All Is In Order” and In the music video, he looked like someone who was well-prepared for the contemporary Nigerian music industry and ready to take on the music scene.

He is young and full of vibes which is a plus for him and his music career and with the way he is he got the whole full package and positives because that’s exactly the kind of energy that Nigerian music need.

We can go on and on about Crayon because there is so much more to talk about him but for now this is where I stop and don't forget to drop your comments and subscribe to our social media pages. Naijarated 💕
